The Giardino D'Azeglio Locazione Turistica offers two suites of rooms, completlely restructured and furnished with antique furniture, on the first floor of an historical palace of the nineteenth century located in the green D'Azeglio square. The nineteenth century square, with the garden in the middle, in english style, with play area and a carousel for children, is central, elegant and quite, without the confusion of the city center and near to all the most important places of historical and cultural interest, reachable on foot. The two suites of rooms, with air-conditioned and free wireless internet access, without a kitchen and without a kitchenette, are composed of a bed-room, a bath-room and a living-room (one unit has also a sitting room) with sofabed, TV, refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso, kettle. If you arrive by car, although D'Azeglio square is in limited traffic area, you can enter if you reserve a parking space at a private garage nearby for 30 o 25 euros per day. I am pleased to be able to host in my property people from different nations, to know them and to do my best that they have a pleasant stay. I will be pleased to give useful informations and to meet the needs of guests. I like art, culture, the beauty of places and to visit cities walking through streets and squares, palaces and churches discovering and to admire beautiful panorama. Florence is one of the most important cities in the world from this point of view and D'Azeglio square one of the places from where Florence can be easily visited on foot. I like to move, also for a day, to other cities of Tuscany: Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Arezzo or to cities of other Regions: Rome, Venice, Milan. Florence has a central position; it is easy to move only for a day to North or South Italy by bus or train.
D'Azeglio Square was built at the time of Florence-Capital of Italy as residential area for the florentine middle class and that is how it is now. The neighbourhood is characteristic and well served: you can easily find supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurant and pizza places, bar, hairdressers, banks, laundry, the post office, newsagents and shops of any kind. The area is also known for Sant'Ambrogio Market that still today maintain its characteristic of old market of fruits, vegetables, flowers and many other typical Tuscan products. It is a quick walk to the Fleamarket with old objects, furniture and linen. In the neighbourhood of D'Azeglio square, reachable on foot, there are many of the most important monuments, museums, churches and theatres of the city and characteristic markets: Santissima Annunziata (650 m); Santa Croce (700 m); the Synagogue and the israelitic museum (200 m); Museum "Ospedale Degli Innocenti" with a panoramic terrace (600 m); archaeological Museum (600 m); Academy Gallery (900 m); San Marco Museum (850 m); Museo dell'Opera del Duomo (1000 m); Bargello Museum (1100 m); Verdi Theatre (850 m); Pergola Theatre (650 m).
