Nestled in the quiet corner of Darjeeling far from the hustle and bustle of the noisy town one can rejuvenate in peaceful bliss at Blue Horizon Homestay. Health enthusiasts can avail of a short trek of 30 minutes into the heart of the town or take a shared taxi for Rs.10. Various view points are within the close proximity and the host would be obliged to assist the guest in all manners. The guests can mingle with the hosts and learn about the local traits and customs and savour the local delicacies.
The host being an ex hotelier would be an epitome of hospitality willing to oblige the guests going the extra mile with utmost zeal and humility.
The homestay is located in Dali Fatak which is the center point for a couple of tourist sightseeing spots. The Dali Monastery is just 10 minutes in walking distance whereas the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda is 20 minutes away on foot. The Railway Station is also within the walking distance and the Batasia Loop is 10 minutes away by car ride. The Rock Garden lies below Dali Fatak which requires a taxi to explore. The mesmerising view of the mighty Kanchenjunga, the 3rd highest mountain in the world is clearly seen in close proximity from Blue Horizon Homestay.
