Ideally located in Wells-next-the-Sea in a peaceful yard, DOGS are not accepted when booking a King room.. AnchorageWells is a holiday home for 8 to 10 people for parts of the year and for the rest you can book a King Ensuite on Room Only. With 4 comfortable king double ensuite rooms, 2 with partial Seaview, Or the entire Holiday cottage, this is a perfect base to explore without needing a car. Room only does not include parking or communal areas or have any self catering facilities. If booking the hole cottage there is parking for 1 normal sized car under cover in our historic yard designed for horse and carts. AnchorageWells also has a beautiful 1 bedroom Lodge, seaview apartment or a lovely 1 bedroom apartment, right next to the harbour. Email the property as requested to check you are booked and happy with the terms and that you have checked your room is as your expectations as described and pictured on the actual room when you booked, as the rooms are in a 16th century cottage that retains many character features, such as a Norfolk Winder Staircase, beams and original doorways. There is also a room on the ground floor for guests that prefer no stairs. The property has a CLEANING policy asking guests to leave the room and all equipement as clean as found and place the laundry in the bag provided. This does not affect their own thorough clean but guests support on this is very much appreciated due to voluntary work with vulnerable in the community. Your host, a marine mammal medic, coastwatch keeper, former harbour commissioner and local seal expert, will offer to meet you on your first morning, when possible, on the terrace to talk about the local wildlife, hikes, bikes, seals, seal rescue, or even about a secret seal colony. You can learn all about the best places and times to see the seal pups, about their behaviour, problems they face and how you can enjoy seeing them safely for you and the seals.
