Before I went I read a few reviews that claimed the place seemed run-down. This is a ridiculous statement, it's a old heritage building so obviously not brand new inside or out, but nicely painted, comfortable beds and good facilities. Cannot wait to come back again!

It offers free Wi-Fi internet access and a fully equipped shared kitchen. I have stayed in various hostels in Scandinavia. This was the best. The rooms were so cosy and clean bed linen. Bathrooms were soo clean and fresh. Kitchen was huge with all sorts of cooking facility. Location was soo good, that everything was in walking distance. Staff was really helpfull. Each room even had lockers, study table and stool. Apt for business and study visits.

Uppsala Kvarntorget shares a building with a restaurant, hairdresser and massage therapist. A supermarket is found just around the corner. I visited Hotell Kvarntorget three times. The room is nice. And there are many toilets and shower rooms. Especially the lobby is very nice. Also the staffs at the reception are kind. Hotell Kvarntorget is very nice!
