A really great hotel with helpful staff in the middle of Loriga surrounded by beautiful scenery! The room was perfect, very large and with enough storage space for all our belongings. The hotel has a lovely kitchen where you can prepare food and it is always kept extremely clean. You can either eat food in the kitchen at the dining table or go to the terrace which is great if the weather permits. The breakfast they provide was also great value.

The bed is super comfy and the bed sheets and pillow as well. I was only there for several hours, but the experience was top notch!

Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela is inserted in the scenic area of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The unit is just 10 km from the nearest ski resort. Had a dorm room all to myself, good price for a room and a breakfast included, good location, wasn't too busy when I was there but I was fine with that.

Cozy room with lots of natural lights, mattress is not the best but the towels were the softest :)
