A really great hotel with helpful staff in the middle of Loriga surrounded by beautiful scenery! The room was perfect, very large and with enough storage space for all our belongings. The hotel has a lovely kitchen where you can prepare food and it is always kept extremely clean. You can either eat food in the kitchen at the dining table or go to the terrace which is great if the weather permits. The breakfast they provide was also great value.

Overall the space was super nicely put together. Everything was new and clean and it had everything that I needed. Facilities are excellent and the. The bed is super comfy and the bed sheets and pillow as well. I was only there for several hours, but the experience was top notch!

Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela ligger i det natursköna området Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Här bor du bara 10 km från närmaste skidort. It had a skiing resort feel to it. A nice place to stay when at the mountains and wearth the money! I had the good luck to be upgraded as well to a single room. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful the moment I stepped in.

Covilhã Hostel ligger i Covilhã, 18 km från Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en bar. good value for money, definitely the cheapest option on offer when I visited. it’s a family run building, and Joao was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station with his car! it’s conveniently located, you can walk everywhere, nice view of the city from my room, a big kitchen to cook meals and decent bathroom. Cozy room with lots of natural lights, mattress is not the best but the towels were the softest :)
