The hostess - Lucia is such an angel! She is super nice and is really flexible with check-in and check-out time. She is such a sweet person.

Located in San Juan and with Ocean Park Beach reachable within 1.1 km, Santurcia Hostel provides a terrace, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Friendly, clean and very helpful staff. Also a good location near the good stuff! Plus nicely social.

Nomada Urban Beach Hostel- Calle Loiza in San Juan provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, would use the location again.

Set in San Juan, 1.9 km from Ocean Park Beach, 1802 at San Juan offers air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. The highlight of the hostel and my stay was the manager Carlos and the rest of the staff! He is extremely kind, helpful and generous. When he has time he shows the guests around the town and gives them an authentic Puerto rican experience :)

Set in San Juan, Villa Eshta offers beachfront accommodation 600 metres from Ocean Park Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. Everything was amazing! Friendly staff, secure room, good locker (bring your own lock), clean facilities. The Sunday cookout and DJ party was a lot of fun.

Situated in an authentic barrio, Casa Santurce is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and popular nightlife spots. This hostel was the perfect base for exploring Puerto Rico. It's in a great location and has a really cool vibe. I loved hanging out in the outdoor area and meeting people from all over the world. The staff were fantastic and gave me great recommendations for things to do and see.

Beach Dorms has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in San Juan. Located around 200 metres from Punta Las Marias, the hostel with free WiFi is also less than 1 km away from Isla Verde. It was really close to the beach and very close to where I ended up staying for a month so it itroduced me to the area. I only stayed overnight but it was a good experience.
