Absolutely gorgeous hostel with an incredible view of Mt Fuji. Great location, close to plenty of restaurants/things to do. Lovely decor and really comfortable futon.

Opened in May 2016, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Perfectly well located at 10 minute walks away from the station and hot photography locations. Staff was extremely welcoming and helped guide to local restaurants and places to see.

Hostel & Salon Saruya ligger 5 minuters promenad från stationen Shimoyoshida och erbjuder ett renoverat 80 år gammalt boende i japansk stil med gratis WiFi. Staff is very nice and helpful. I am very impressed with my stay here, the bed was very comfortable, very clean and beautiful place. Fuji can be clearly seen in front of the accommodation on the right.

Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel ligger bara 10 minuters bilresa från nöjesparken Fujikyu Highland och erbjuder privata rum i japansk stil samt gratis Wi-Fi i lobbyn. Excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay there, we like the Japanese style room with tatami room, and have a sight of mount fuji from our window view. And the location is near by Shimoyoshida Street just 3min walk with not crowded and have a clearly mount fuji view in the early morning. Kindly and polite host to guide us. We are not regret to stay here.

八-Hachi- Accommodation ligger i Fujikawaguchiko och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, trädgård och gemensam lounge samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. I only spent two nights, I wanted to stay longer, but the guesthouse was already full on the dates I wanted. It was an invigorating experience, what a nice, cozy place. I had the breakfast they make, it delicious, if you like japanese food I recommend it. Everyone is very friendly, especially Imuzo and his brother (unfortunately I didn't ask his name). Yudai, Daichi and Yuka are very friendly and helpful, always ready to help and offer the best experience for guests. I will recommend it to all my friends who come to visit Mount Fuji one day. Thank you for the excellent stay.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. It is just a few minutes walk to Kawaguchi Lake & Oishi Park so the location couldn’t be more convenient. Was my first time staying in a hostel, but you couldn’t be more safe than in a hostel in Japan. My pod was super clean and so is the rest of the place. It is well equipped, even more so than our last hotel. There’s laundry, a shared kitchen and on site food for order as well as a bar. I was really impressed how clean the showers and toilets were (separate rooms). Male and female showers and toilets are also separated. All the guests are super quiet and respectful. It’s very family friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. The value is exceptional! Payed $43 cad pp for a mixed bunk room dormitory.
