"This hostel impressed me from the start with the warm welcome from the staff. They speak English well, and the place is clean. Outside the hostel, there's a stunning view of Mount Fuji. It's also conveniently located near the station, making travel easy. What impressed me the most here is that we forgot something at the hostel when we're now in Tokyo, but when we contacted the hostel, the staff coordinated and had it sent to our hotel in Tokyo."

Absolutely gorgeous hostel with an incredible view of Mt Fuji. Great location, close to plenty of restaurants/things to do. Lovely decor and really comfortable futon.

Opened in May 2016, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. I liked the home feeling. Very warm place to stay, i liked the facilities, very high quality! And the most I liked the host, Machiko, she is the best host, and most nicely person I met... Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. Staff is very nice and helpful. I am very impressed with my stay here, the bed was very comfortable, very clean and beautiful place. Fuji can be clearly seen in front of the accommodation on the right.

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. Excellent, it was a wonderful experience to stay there, we like the Japanese style room with tatami room, and have a sight of mount fuji from our window view. And the location is near by Shimoyoshida Street just 3min walk with not crowded and have a clearly mount fuji view in the early morning. Kindly and polite host to guide us. We are not regret to stay here.

I only spent two nights, I wanted to stay longer, but the guesthouse was already full on the dates I wanted. It was an invigorating experience, what a nice, cozy place. I had the breakfast they make, it delicious, if you like japanese food I recommend it. Everyone is very friendly, especially Imuzo and his brother (unfortunately I didn't ask his name). Yudai, Daichi and Yuka are very friendly and helpful, always ready to help and offer the best experience for guests. I will recommend it to all my friends who come to visit Mount Fuji one day. Thank you for the excellent stay.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. It is just a few minutes walk to Kawaguchi Lake & Oishi Park so the location couldn’t be more convenient. Was my first time staying in a hostel, but you couldn’t be more safe than in a hostel in Japan. My pod was super clean and so is the rest of the place. It is well equipped, even more so than our last hotel. There’s laundry, a shared kitchen and on site food for order as well as a bar. I was really impressed how clean the showers and toilets were (separate rooms). Male and female showers and toilets are also separated. All the guests are super quiet and respectful. It’s very family friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. The value is exceptional! Payed $43 cad pp for a mixed bunk room dormitory.
