Backpackers Hostel TSUBAMENOYADO asub Shizuoka külas, 47 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. The property is cute, well-designed, recently renovated, impeccably clean and functional. There are only three rooms with bunks available in the house, but the rooms are rather spacious compared to most we have stayed in in Japan. The bunks were sturdy and well made and the futon was more comfortable than most we’ve slept on. The air-con in the room is much needed in Japanese summers and the kitchen, although small, is good enough for prepping quick meals and is impeccably clean like the rest of the property. The showers are also fantastic and the bathrooms are great too. A wonderful place to stay overall. The owner, Kosei, is also very kind, welcoming, and a lovely person to deal with.

Situated in Fuji, 43 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, GUESTHOUSE富士と碧 features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.... Good value. $20 per person per night. U can get your own room or in a shared room. The facility is very clean. The location is about a 12 min taxi ride from shin Fuji station which costs about 1200 yen. Great value if you decide to climb the mountain Fuji.

Located in Numazu and with Senbon Beach reachable within 600 metres, 沼津ライダーハウスしんちゃん provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Beautifully renovated Japanese traditional house. Great location for Nomazu city sightseeing and very friendly staff. Good for value too! 😊

Kinoya Hostel asub Fujis, Shuzen-ji templist 41 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, privaatne parkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. Majutusasutus on allergiavaba ning asub Shimizu jaamast 23 km kaugusel. Traditional looking Hostel close to the JR station, but also offers car parking (and plenty of parking nearby too!). Looks clean and new. The staff are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms and baths are clean and lovely. You use a booking system… do it is private or family use.

Atelier & Hostel Nagaisa-Ura asub Atamis, 400 meetri kaugusel Atami Suni rannast ja 27 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast. Perfect location at the Harbour and seaside of Atami, including the beach. Wonderful all day, especially early in the morning and at sunset. Great restaurants and Atami Ginza as well as an amusement area close to the river all within a few minutes walking. The Japanese style room was minimalist but very nice and generous. The host was really charming and I would have stayed two weeks longer there but had to return to Germany.

Aia, ühise puhkeruumi, restorani ja baariga hostel Tagore Harbor asub Numazus. Tasuta WiFi-ühendusega hostel asub Shuzen-ji templist umbes 21 km kaugusel. Koibito Misaki neem jääb 24 km kaugusele. It was quite a trip through the Izu mountains on a rainy day to get there, but our expectations were tremendously exceeded when we got there. All the staff members were very friendly (were happy to explain things in English but also happily put up with me wanting to practice my Japanese), and our room was a dream. After going to the onsen to wind down after a day of travel, we grabbed some dinner and enjoyed it from our room - open windows, overlooking the night-time harbor literally right in front of us. The choice of furniture is on point, the custom made shelf/table across the wall facing the port is wonderful and I also loved the warm lighting. Breakfast is well worth noting, the bread was excellent and they were able to accomodate a vegetarian option (I didn‘t specifically ask for vegan though). If you prefer to do your own breakfast, that also works, and there‘s a 24h 7-eleven around the corner if you‘re in a pickle. Overall: The whole place was so well put-together, beautiful and cozy that I went around recommending it to everyone after we left. If you‘re looking for a weekend getaway, this is it.

Set in Matsuzaki, 20 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, ゲストハウス大安吉田 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Rustic old house in countryside with welcoming host (who speaks English) and a great communal feel. Bring some food to cook in shared kitchen or barbecue and experience cooking rice in the old wood stove.

Merevaate ja bnb+Atami Resort asub Atamis, 27 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast. My stay at bnb+ Atami resort was fantastic. Despite arriving late, I was greeted by the employee Taka at the door, who kindly checked me in and gave me a free upgrade without me even requesting it. I also accidentally left one of my belongings at the hostel, and Taka kindly mailed it back to me the next day. I'd like to give a special thanks to Taka for ensuring my stay as fantastic and returning my belongings to me!
