The individual rooms meant you get to meet lots of other guests both locally and internationally. The location is on a quiet street, short walk from Samegai JR station (which unfortunately does not have an escalator) The Ryokan has been renovated beautifully, plenty of space to read, chat, eat and relax. The Ryokan has well thought out shared bathrooms, toilet and a small kitchenette with a kettle, small fridge and microwave available for use. The Ryokan is very clean with fresh towels provided everyday. The host Usui san cooks breakfast and dinner daily upon request, but you are free to buy food and eat it at the Ryokan.

ゲストハウスでたらめ荘 has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Yamakami. I had a really great time in this place, thanks to Konbu, Michi and Egosan who are amazing hosts. I was looking for a place to stay for a few days to do nothing but rest and this place was perfect. I really felt at home, the living room was my lair. There is a grocery store 15 minutes by walk but to be fair I didnt go there since you can ask Egosan to cook for you (1000 ¥/meal). And let me tell you that he is a great cook. On the first evening he asked me what is my favorite Japanese dish and he made it the following day ! Since I was the only customer during my stay we spend time together, they even bring me with them to go to a good local restaurant and then they surprised me by going to a bakery since I said I wanted to try Japanese dessert. Once again, I had a really great time !

Baari ja tasuta eraparklaga GUEST HOUSE NAGORIYA asub Hikone linnas, 1,7 km kaugusel Hikone lossist. Majutusasutuses on ühine köök ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Beautiful cozy guest house in hikone. Quite place next to the river and lake. There's also a kind of kitchen. Really confy beds too. The owner really friendly and English speaker. I really suggest if you want to visit hikone castle and relax

Set in Nagahama, 14 km from Hikone Castle, 長濱元浜町宿場 片原楽家 offers air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace. Offering a bar, the property is located within 8.9 km of Maibara Station. The host makes amazing coffee. A very friendly person. I had a great stay. The location is perfect for cyclists who are cycling around Lake Biwa from Otsu.

Biwa-Lakeside Cottage B B Dylan asub Minami-komatsus, 24 km kaugusel Sanzen-ini templist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. The house is beautiful and set close to Biwa Lake. I really enjoyed my night on traditional Tatami and Futon. The stuff is amazing! They are super friendly and we laughed a lot together as my new Nakama :) I definitely will come again!!!!!
