Hostel Cuore Kurashiki ligger bara 10 minuters promenad från tågstationen JR Kurashiki i den historiska stadsdelen Bikan i Kurashiki. Alla rum har unik design och elegant inredning. Front Entrance… even Bar first I opened the door…..but it was feeling Like a Your safe in here and Friendly Staff…

Machicado ligger i Tamano och erbjuder boende med trädgård, gemensam lounge och bar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. An extremely comfortable, homely experience. The check-in was in a café nearby, and I was guided to the location and kindly shown around there. Despite arriving late at night and being a bit late for the regular check-in time, I was not charged extra. There were a lot of books in the common areas, which added to the cosy feeling. There was one shared shower, and a time-slot system to ensure everyone could take a shower. The bed in the capsule was made as a Futon, and the entire building felt very traditionally Japanese (including a Genkan to take off the shoes at the entrance). In the common room, you could find timetables for trains and ferries and recommendations for nearby restaurants. Not too far from the train station.

DENIM HOSTEL float ligger i Kurashiki, 16 km från Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park, och har en restaurang, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi och en bar. It feels like a secret holiday house. The bath was very relaxing and you can use it privately too. The staff are very friendly, they helped providing me with alternative methods to reach the property as the direct buses stop after 7pm or so. It’s very clean and the restaurant felt very private and delicious. You can grind coffee beans in your room and read books and magazines it was a beautiful experience and design.

Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge's ligger bara 500 meter från JR Okayamas västra utgång och har ett kafé med en livescen för DJ:s och andra konstnärer. Cooking tools and kitchen availavle. Reasonable and comfortable bed/room.

Kikusui Ryokan är ett 50 år gammalt traditionellt japanskt vandrarhem som ligger 8 minuters promenad från JR-stationen Uno. Rummet är inrett med unika konstverk designade av konstnärer. Ryokan was amazing. Great location, central to everything. Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae ligger i Maniwa, inom 22 km från Shoka Museum Ikegamitei och 23 km från Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen... I think it must be a very nice place in summer, but I was there on a snowing day and it was very cold inside the building. Going out for the toilet or to the shower room was a bit painful for me! But the bedroom was warm and the futon very comfortable. The owner was nice and helpful.

HIBARI HOUSE ligger 10 minuters bilresa från stationen Okayama, varifrån du kan åka till Hiroshima Station på 40 minuter och till stationen Shin-Osaka på 50 minuter. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen.
