Set a 10-minute drive from Jökulsárlón Glacier, this farm hostel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and mountain views. Iceland’s Ring Road is right next to the property. The host was very friendly and explined everything when we checked in. Very quiet area. Large clean rooms. The shared bathroom was large and clean. The kitchen area was well stocked.

Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. Unique place, beautiful architecture, friendly and nice staff, comfy room and nice amenities. The location was also really nice, close to Laugarvatn hot water and restaurant, where the volcanic bread is a must try!

Cu vedere la portul din Höfn şi la gheţarul Vatnajökull, acest hostel modern oferă o bucătărie şi facilităţi de spălătorie. It’s clean, great facilities (kitchen, parking etc), have good beddings. The place also near the coast which means good for aurora hunting!
