Set in Tihany and with Tihany Abbey reachable within 700 metres, Tihany Község Önkormányzat - Ifjúsági Szállás offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared... Everything was nice, there are cafes nearby and the bus stop is within short walking distance (uphill, a very short walk anyway). The room was very clean with air conditioning and a tv. Please note that towels are not provided and you need to pay cash. Oh, and do not miss the cows and the ground squirrels near the inner lake!

The Hullam Hostel in the centre of Révfülöp on Lake Balaton's north shore is just 100 meters away from the beach and 200 meters from the next train station away. the space is really nice. beds are comfortable for a hostel. the whole area has such a fun feel to it. Saturdays with the folk music is also really nice. I met a lot of great fun people here as well.
