The furniture is zen-nish and the general atmosphere is super relaxing. Even though the hostel is not in the city center, it is very close to the tram station (from which you can pick the tram n° 19 or 49, leading to the central part of Pest in about 15-20 mins). If I ever come back to Budapest, I'll surely try to stay at the Shantee House once again.

We stayed at the one without but we have access to the bath and toilet in the common area basically all to our own. The location is excellent, with many attractions in walking distance and many supermarkets and shops literally downstairs. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and provided excellent information on how to enjoy the city. Because of the insider knowledge, we got to follow the lead of the locals and hangout at the racetrack for the new year's eve. It was an amazing experience.

We found the place easily thanks to the pictures provided by the staff (easy to get there from the airport btw). There was coffee and tea available and that was very nice :)
