El Basecamp Wales es un hostel de gestión familiar y se encuentra en Llanllyfni, en las afueras del parque nacional Snowdonia, a 30,3 km de Pen-Y-Pass y a 8,2 km de la playa de Dinas Dinlle. There is a flock of alpacas and sheep in the field, and free feed for kids to give to them. Staff were excellent when we arrived, giving a site tour.

Amazing location close to restaurants and beautiful walks close by. The buses to Snowdonia are within a 5 minute walk of the hostel as well which was great! The common areas were spacious, a large kitchen to use, showers had hot water and the beds were wooden so there was no squeaking. The staff were lovely and gave us advice for our trip - would stay here again next time we’re back!

El Lodge Dinorwig ocupa una escuela reformada y se encuentra en Dinorwig, a 8 km de Snowdon. Se facilita estacionamiento privado gratuito. communication was excellent, Nothing too much trouble, Any reasonable request was accommodated. Large and comfortable communal room. Well stocked self facilities for tea and coffee making were very good.

Los baños estaban limpios.

Location, lovely staff, delicious breakfasts, free access to most of the building (lounge, game room, library), bonfire area. Mattress was quite hard but that's what we like and we slept like a babies
