Dolphins Backpackers is a relatively cheap stay at Tintagel, therefore I didn't really know what to expect at first when I got there. But from the moment I arrived it exceeded all my expectations! John and Leah are both very friendly and welcoming and will make sure everything is okay for you. The atmosphere at the hostel is just everything, it is very easy to make new friends here. Also the location is at walking distance from everything as it is located in the middle of Tintagel village. And since you are staying at Dolphins, you can get a backpackers discount at a lot of cafe's and restaurants. What I also really loved was how clean everything is. I even dared to touch the shower walls and walk barefoot, which means a lot for a hostel. Even right now in London where I am staying in a hostel which is even out of my budget, the showers feel smudgy, but at Dolphins Backpackers, John and Leah make sure everything is super clean.

Set in a Georgian mansion, YHA Penzance features a traditional restaurant and leafy gardens. Penzance Seafront is a 15-minute walk away, and Newlyn Harbour is just 1.5 miles away. The sheets were clean, there’s a kitchen and dining area to use and also place to leave your food. Spacious room, all beds has lamshades and plugs.
