Lovely hostel, very clean rooms and kitchen, comfy beds with curtains, big locker with key next to beds, door in our room to the garden that we could open to let in fresh air, huge dining room, place to put bicycles inside securely, less than 10 minutes walk to city centre, bus stop at bottom of street for buses to and from Brno (and a local train station), lovely hosts, highly recommended. They also make and sell their own great wines, which you can sample and buy there at the hostel. And Mikulov is a delightful town to visit.

Wake Up Wellness Hostel ligger idealiskt beläget i centrala Brno och erbjuder frukostbuffé och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Nära tågstationen , bra stort rum, skön säng. Bra frukost. Helt ok 1 natt, vid längre vistelse är det bättre att bo närmre gamla stan/ stortorget som jag gjort tidigare.

10-Z Bunker ligger i Brnos centrum, precis nedanför slottet Špilberk, och har anor från den kommunistiska perioden. Här erbjuds boende med en unik upplevelse och ett valfritt program. Awesome place, enjoyed every moment spent there. You get to feel like in an episode of the X-Files or a mission in Call of Duty. If you don't care about the comfort for one or 2 nights and want to experience something really different, then book here. Be aware that it's a real bunker. Don't come here expecting luxury and then complain about it and give it a bad review. Bring warm clothes, no matter the season. The temperature inside is constant, around 16 Celsius (60°F). The staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They even let me stay some extra minutes in the museum, after all the people left. The breakfast room is very pretty and the food itself is decent. If you want to take some retro pictures, this place is for you. In conclusion, if you come with the right mindset, you will have an amazing time. It's cold, humid, the toilets and showers are not top class, but that's exactly how it's supposed to be. It would not feel genuine if they renovated it and improved stuff. 10/10.
