The view of the mountains is wonderful! The hostello is new so, everything is very clean. There are so many beautiful places to walk around or go by bike. Don’t miss the breakfast it was delicious and was prepared with wonderful care. We enjoyed a lot and decided to stay one more night. We totally recomend this experience.

Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. Very friendly staff who made me feel welcomed not only to the hostel but also to the city. Ticino ticket that enables free public transport is a really good invention and I suggest strongly other tourists to use it.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. There wasn’t breakfast but plenty of refrigerator space and kitchen to make your own meals.

Offering a ski school and a ski pass sales point, Casa di vacanza Giovanibosco is located in Bosco Gurin, 400 metres from Ski Lift Stafla. Very clean hostel. Also very quiet. The staff (especially Franco) is very kind-hearted.

Situated in Ascona in the Canton of Ticino, Casa Moscia is located directly on the shore of Lago Maggiore and features a private beach area. It is very beautiful, well taken care of and services are very well organized. We felt very much 'at home' there. The view from the rooms is extraordinary. The garden is beautiful with lots of different plants.
