For the price per night, breakfast was brilliant. Hot chocolate from the machine one of the best I've had in Europe. Kitchen was fantastic and lots of people using it so a good chance to meet others. Staff on the desk were friendly and helpful and an electronic display with the bus times. Big screen .TV with the conditions for each ski field. Free lockers for use after checking out.

L'auberge de jeunesse Brienz Youth Hostel est située sur les rives du lac de Brienz, à 15 minutes à pied de la gare de Brienz. I liked the location first, and I liked that I was given a room with a balcony so I could sit looking over the lake. Close to town and train station too. The owners were really lovely and were more than nice to me and made me feel very welcome.
