If I were to come back to the Sliema / St Julian's area, this is definitely where I'd stay again. (I also stayed at Inhawi, which is really solid, but too big / impersonal for my tastes). Granny's has super comfy mattresses and the low overhang on the bunk beds wasn't very bad. The dorm room was spacious with shelves and lockers, and even a desk. Lots of nice communal spaces (kitchen, patios, rooftop with loungers, and a TV room). It's on a quiet street across from a school. People we're good about quiet hours, the kitchen is well stocked and has community food, and overall the whole place is very clean. Good wifi, hot water, easy check-in. Also, I got to know several of the Workaway volunteers working here, and their glowing reviews of how their experiences there say a lot. People who stay here actually socialized and got to know one another, unlike in some bigger hostels.

there was this one Turkish guy, i dont know his name. he was so nice!! and there was also this girl from Poland, really awesome beautiful girl :). i played some music with the hosts, and really had a great time. the rooms were clean and the vibes were great. i miss the place a lot and plan to go there soon again. thank you so much for this awesome experience!!! <3 💕 :)
