Amazing hostel, the best place I’ve stayed in Japan in four years of visits! Ryo-san is the most wonderful and kind host! He organised some hotpot dinners for all of us to spend time together as well as trips to the onsen. The shuttle to the ski hill in the morning is great and he always has great banter even though he’s so busy! The whole place is cosy and feels like a home, it’s warm and the Japanese decor is wonderful and the kitchen and bathrooms are so clean and well kept! A seriously incredible place run by the best human. Ryo-san I’ll be back many more times!

Comfortable stay in Kutchan. Quick walk to the bus stop and about a 20min bus ride to Niseko. Comfy and clean rooms.

I guess I didn’t read the description but it’s a really cool property, it’s an old school turned into a hostel. The owners were extremely nice and communicated everything well. There a bus stop for both directions at the entrance making it very accessible to either town. When I got hurt and had to go to the hospital the grandma at the property who used to be a nurse helped re bandage my ankle after the hospital didn’t do a good job and everyone checked on me every day. It was really sweet.

The location was exceptional. Very close from the Hirafu ski center. They dropped me off at kutchan station when I left the hostel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
