Amazing hostel with the kindest and helpful staff. They were so so nice. The commun area is cozy. The rooms and facilities are more than clean. Located near the river, beautiful for walk. A bus goes directly from Kanazawa station, very convenient. One of the best hostel I stayed. Highly recommended.

There is no where else I would rather stay, I wish I could take Shaq and his Bighouse with me across the world. Clean and comfortable facilities, social and chill atmosphere, you can't ask for much more. Stay here and ask Shaq about his bus crash over some drinks.

thank you!! don’t usually leave reviews but: man who works here is super helpful and nice, definitely recommend to any solo / couple travellers!! inside is all equipped with a cosy bar, microwave/grill/kettle etc, really clean beds and bar, and location is perfect to visit anything in Kanazawa! felt so safe in the bunks with blackout curtains and locks on all the doors. mainly just felt really welcome by the staff who helped with recommendations etc where he could !! also had incredible japanese breakfast which was really good value (¥800) and very very yummy, he makes it for you in the morning for whatever time :))
