Situated in Venice, within 400 metres of Ca' d'Oro and a 9-minute walk of Rialto Bridge, Ostello S. Fosca - CPU Venice Hostels offers private rooms and dormitories, with free WiFi.

At the hostel, rooms come with either shared or private bathroom.

Great location. I got from Marco Polo Airport by bus 5 to the Venice stop (10€), then walked 15 minutes along the busy tourist streets along the Grand Canal to the hostel. You can check into the hostel until 22.00; they are not available at night. I checked in at 21.00, I need to call the administrator to open the door. The administrator, a very nice girl, quickly checked us in and explained everything in detail. The hostel is clean, there is a kitchen where you can cook or heat food. Tea and coffee are free in the Hall. Ideal for a short stay.

Guests can choose between a bed in a dormitory, a private room or an apartment. Communal areas include a kitchen, a lounge area, a terrace with canal views and a laundry area. There is also a conference room.

Convincing location - close to vaporetto stops and Fondamenta dei Ormesini - a street with bars and restaurants, perfect for the evening. Combo has many rooms with canals view, a modest but tasty breakfast, own bar, winebar, restaurant and space for just rest as well. Really great accommodation in the historical building.

A 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, Ostello Domus Civica is set in Venice’s San Polo district. This hostel offers a shared terrace and rooms and beds in mixed dormitories, both with shared bathrooms.

The staff were the most lovely people ever, they made everyone feel really welcome and were always happy to help and give recommendations. The location was amazing, it had beautiful views and was close to the station and bus stop to the airport. Just know that it’s Venice and you have to walk 20-30 min to get anywhere (like Doge's and Piazza San Marco) lol. I didn't mind it at all as I was used to walking and expected it. The hostel was in an old building with a dated style, the rooms were smaller but were clean and the beds were comfortable.

We were super happy about this hotel. Friendly Stefano met us there and gave us a lot of valuable information about places to visit and things to do, also the information about local tricks not to get into any tourist trap. The hotel was a bit old (as everything in Venice), but super clean and comfortable. The location is top, central, but not very loud (the windows are new and good sound isolating). The big kitchen in the hotel with all the equipment needed helped us save some money on restaurants. So I totally recommend this hotel and would love to go there again!

A few steps from the Fondamente Nove A water bus stop, Ostello AMDG offers accommodation in Venice. Guests can easily walk to Rialto Bridge, located 850 metres away.

All rooms come with a wardrobe and a desk. Some feature a handbasin and shared bathroom.

This is my fourth stay here. It is simple, clean and economical, in a relatively quiet part of Venice. If you expect concierge service, a mini-bar, this is not for you. It's part of a student hall of residence. Special plaudits for Sebastiano on reception - helpful and friendly. I came by train but a plus is that the Alilaguna vaporetto stop for the airportI is a minute's walk away.

The address is a scam...it did not exist, I spent 3 hrs looking for it and had to find alternative accomodation at midnight. I am a diabetic OAP booking.com need to get their act together.

Located in Mestre, a&o Hotel Venezia Mestre offers accommodation with free WiFi, just a 7-minute walk from the train station.

Guests can choose en suite rooms with a flat-screen TV, or beds in dormitories.

The place was great! We were greeted by the staff in reception who were very friendly and fun. We got a private room, so we felt like we're in a hotel. The place was very clean, we had our own bathroom with shampoo provided in the bathroom, which was great. There is a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils downstairs for the residents to use, and a spacious common area to have your food or just relax and socialize. There's also a bar and vending machines downstairs. We didn't eat at the bar in th location, but we had lunch at a restaurant just a bit down the street from the hostel, which had delicious food, and large portions too. There's also a big grocery store/shopping center just around the corner from the hostel, where you can buy almost anything you might need. The place is not too far from the train station, so you can commute easily.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Really nice budget option. Super comfortable beds! A lot of young people. I have been there during low session, so hostel didn't offer any special food or events but I have seen that they have. In the area are many nice and cheap local restaurants!

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is a bit out of the way, but easy enough to get to and much cheaper than staying on the main island. I felt safe in and around the hostel as a solo female traveller. The staff that checked me in were incredibly kind and helpful, although the staff on reception/bar the following morning were noticeably less so.

Really great location right next to the water and 15mins walk from Piazzale Roma where the buses come. Host was very friendly and accommodating and gave great advice on where to eat, sights to see etc. The shared room was very comfortable and one of the best hostel stays in my experience. Also the sunsets on the harbourside directly outside the house were amazing each day.

A super friendly hostel minutes away from the water taxi stop from the airport. The area around the hostel is quiet and safe and there is a canal filled with local bars and restuarants nearby. The people running the hostel are very friendly and helpful. Its also the cheaperst hostel in Venice

Ths location is amazing. There are tons of restaurants and bars around the hotel. Most major tourist sites are near. Personnel was polite. Staying in Venice isn't cheap so it's nice to have a budget option that's not a hostel. A cleaning lady came in every day and the room was cleaned well. The rooms are old but it's part of the charm.
