Featuring a shared lounge, a terrace as well as a bar, Hostel Mannheim is located in the centre of Mannheim, 700 metres from University of Mannheim. Among the facilities at this property are a tour desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared kitchen.

Originally, I had booked a different hostel. However, when my friend Max raved about Mannheim Hostel, I trusted his recommendation and switched my reservation. I can confidently say Max wasn't exaggerating. My stay was exceptional. Its prime location, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre, combined with the comprehensive inclusions (making it convenient for backpackers to travel even lighter) and cost-effective extras, significantly enhanced my experience. The staff were the icing on the cake - always available and eager to help, ensuring guests felt pampered and at home. Given that Mannheim Hostel is relatively new, I sincerely hope they maintain their current ethos. Anyone visiting Mannheim or its vicinity should consider staying here; it ranks among the best experiences I've had in both hostels and hotels. The best part? Everything felt genuine; there was no sense of the staff "trying too hard." It's a given that Mannheim Hostel will be my top choice during my next visit. A big thank you to everyone at the reception and those who assisted me through messages. Above all, kudos to Max for his stellar recommendation!

The Location is great, easy to reach from the Trainstation and many Bars and Restaurants around. The rooftop is so nice, to sit afternoon with a local beer from their fridge. Much bigger room than in other hostels around Europe.

Location of the hostel was very good, 300m from Paradeplatz tram stops and there were grocery shops and cafes near the hostel. The staff were also very nice and friendly.

Location: The hostel is easily accessible by public transport with supermarkets, restaurants within walking distance. Property: Modern, clean, comfortable and soundproof. Also, the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need to cook if required. Conclusion: Fantastic! definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed at.

A budget hotel, and you get what you paid for. It's situated in nice building (from the outside), but is spartanly bare and falling apart on the inside. Some people might find it a bit spooky looking. But on the other hand it's cheap for a private room with bathroom. Don't come here expecting anything more than that. Nonetheless, it's quiet and I slept well. And there was a ventilator to keep me cool.
