Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the Swiss Parliament and the Aare River. Free Wi-Fi is available.

First of all, the location of the hostel is great, it is very close to the city center and the train station, the breakfast is much higher than the hostel average, the width of the rooms is sufficient and the size of the cupboards and the lock system are great.. in short, Perfect 👍🏻

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The accomodations were roomy and the open kitchen very well organised. Cereals, milk and tea were for free and there was a small coffeemachine. All the rooms and shared spaces were really clean. This hostel deserves a spot in my top 3 of best hostels I visited.

Great location, lockers in the room (keys are provided by the property), spacious showers, clean. Easy check-in and check-out process. It was also quiet. The hostel had a kitchen, I did not check it out, but it`s nice to have the opportunity. Mirror and sink in the room.

The location and the Youth hostels in Basel in Bern were amazing. The tidy and clean bedsheets, the breakfast, the hostel lobby, and the personal everything was incredible. Wi-Fi was so accessible. They provide you with the card to train free of charge. I stayed in Basel, stayed in Bern. Now planning to go to Luzern. The same Youth hostel. The lobby was so cozy.

Honestly one of the best hostels i ve stayed. They provided a code to have free transport to the center and center zone in general, they had cheap options for food compared to the rest of the city and the breakfast was great. Plus the staff was friendly and very helpful with everything
