Offering a garden and lake view, Dory Homestay is set in Hue, 1 km from Forbidden Purple City and 1.2 km from Tinh Tam Lake. This homestay offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. We stayed in the Lake View room and it was lovely, especially seeing the daily lives of those living around the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. Laundry services were available and the host did an amazing job with our clothes. The homestay is within walking distance to the Imperial City as well as a local market. Great food options in the area. Some of the best spots were in hidden alleys. The homestay is also near a great corner cafe, tasty bánh mì, and an excellent barber. The host for this homestay was so incredibly sweet! It was a joy to interact with her and her visitors. Yes, there is a language barrier, but I'm not sure where most of the reviewers think they are traveling to. You'd think they were going to the UK or Canada with how much English they expect everyone to speak. Folks, you're in Vietnam and there are plenty of translation apps!

The people here is so friendly and the place have everything that I needed. Pool is very cool, breakfast as well. It's not close of the center but with motorcycle or cycling its okey !!
