Zimão Garden House is located in Vila Real, 30 km from Natur Waterpark, 31 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, and 43 km from Douro Museum. Quiet place with great confort in a fully renovated house. Small details in the decoration made it unique and unforgettable, the host was very helpful and her two cats really made the end of my trip worthwhile.

Situated in Provesende and only 12 km from Natur Waterpark, Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

A recently renovated homestay in Peso da Régua and within 1.4 km of Douro Museum, Casa Vila Rosa features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Beautiful, quiet, clean room with self serve port, coffee and tea available. Easily walkable to the river, restaurants, shopping. Street parking was no problem.

The quality of the facilities exceeded my expectations. The house is steeped in local history, which adds value to the experience of discovering the region. The room offered impeccable conditions for rest and immersion in the mountain landscape.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Douro D'Heart - Regua Guesthouse - Casa Completa is located in Peso da Régua. Our host left some fresh baked breads for us in the morning which we found to be very convenient. The kitchen was dated, but complete with everything you might need. The bathrooms were modern in comparison to the rest of the house. We felt as if transported into the days of Downton Abby with all the antique furniture, and the space was enormous. The bedrooms were all large with four poster beds. Altogether a nice experience.

Situated in Alijó, 16 km from Pinhão, Quinta do Sol features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. Alt! Sara er fantastisk! Hun er superhyggelig og gjorde alt for at oppholdet skulle bli så bra som mulig. Kjæresten hjalp også til og var like hyggelig. Stille og fredelig, og et meget komfortabelt rom. Det er individuelt hva man liker, men madrass og pute passet meg perfekt. Veldig god frokost, en fantastisk stue for gjestene med vidstrakt utsikt. En trivelig hage med flere sittegrupper, og basseng for de som liker slikt. Mulig å grille i hagen. Sikker og skyggefull parkering for motorsykkelen min foran huset (bak låst port). Kort vei til landsbyen med flere bra spisesteder. Fine turmuligheter i nærområdet, både til fots og med eget kjøretøy. Som jeg sa til Sara da jeg dessverre måtte dra (ønsket å forlenge, men hun var fullbooket), det føltes ikke som et gjestehus, men som å bo hjemme hos en god venn. Jeg anbefaler stedet, og Sara, 100%!

Located in Vilarinho da Castanheira, 46 km from Vila Real, Casa Dona Urraca boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Rooms are spread between 2 houses. The place is a thirteenth century farm house, renovated, super charming, and located in a very quiet small village. The owners are awesome and hospitable. They welcomed us with a beautiful bottle of Porto and cookies on a tray with starched linen. Our room was neat, clean, spacious, and we had a view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious: it included a wide variety of foods such as breads, yogurt, cut-up fruit, ham, and cheese all served on elegant linen and dishes. They shared fresh cherries, strawberries, and herbs from their garden with us. Adelina, her niece, and sister-in-law went out of their way to make us feel at home, and to accommodate our dietary constraints (no lactose). We look forward to coming back to this piece of paradise in the near future.

Featuring pool with a view and views of river, Quinta da Gricha is a guest house situated in a historic building in Ervedosa do Douro, 32 km from Douro Museum. Exceptionally well maintained property. Stunning views all around with amazing garden and vineyard perfect for a short walk. Matteo was fantastic during the visit and tasting in answering thoroughly all our questions and offering a genuine service. Will surely visit again.
