Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

CITY STONE HOUSE in Ponta Delgada provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Everything was perfect and beyond expectations. The room looks the same as on the pictures. Emanuel gave a lot of tips and sent us a written guidance to the island. He did his best to make our trip memorable. We really liked how he prepared with towels for the beach, hot springs and enough in the bathroom as well. + It was one of the cleanest place I've ever been. He really thought about everything. Thank you so much for every tips and help!

Arrivillage, a property with a garden, is situated in Arrifes, 7.6 km from Pico do Carvao, 19 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon, as well as 20 km from Lagoa Verde. I loved the location of the place, it's in a village near Ponta Delgada and you really get a feeling you're one with the locals. Jose, our host, is incredible. He thinks of everything, you will have everything you need at hand and if there is any kind of problem he will always be there to help and recommend all the best places to visit. Highly recommend!

Located within 500 metres of Praia do Corpo Santo and 600 metres of Praia da Vinha da Areia in Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila features accommodation with seating area. We like that the beds were very comfortable and the place was kept clean, even the shared living space and kitchen. We also like that the place is close to the supermarket which is a 2min walking distance. The host was also very kind and helpful.

Offering pool with a view and sea view, Thalassa Villas is situated in Ponta Delgada, less than 1 km from São Roque Beach and a 15-minute walk from Milicias Beach. Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

Located in Povoação and only 2.4 km from Morro Beach, Casa da Lomba do Cavaleiro provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great traditional house. Rodrigo was extremely accommodating with anything we needed as well as offering great advice re places to visit. We loved the art and books around the house. Thank you.

Featuring inner courtyard views, barbecue facilities and free WiFi, Vila Mar features accommodation ideally set in Vila Franca do Campo, within a short distance of Praia da Vinha da Areia, Praia do... The apartment is very well equipped. The hosts are lovely and helpful. It's great that they have a washing machine and tumble dryer available for the guests! The location is ideal in Villa Franca.

Situated in Ribeira Grande and within 300 metres of Ponte dos Oito Arcos, Matriz Guest House has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. I don't know where to start! Rossana kindly waited for us on our arrival (1.30 am!) and despite late hour showed and explained everything we might need, there were some local type of pastries on the arrival in our room. We stayed in the bigger room with ocean view (3 of us) and a room was perfect, its big so you don't feel like there is no space for a group of friends. Balcony with a view - great! Breakfast was good, everything you need for a day full of adventure. You could also use the microwave, dishes, fridge (amazing!) located in the breakfast room. Cinnamon liquor made by Matriz house (owners) is 11/10, we wish we had checked in baggage for flight to buy some big bottles. If you need, you can also do laundry in the house (for an extra pay), but that's also is great feature of staying. Very accommodating, we have felt very welcomed and it was just GREAT! I just don't have words to recommend it enough. Thank you so much for the amazing time, you were part of it.

Situated in Ponta Delgada, 7 km from Portas da Cidade, Ponta Delgada - Casa Rural features free WiFi and sea views. This was our favorite stay of our trip and we stayed at 3 different locations. Private, clean and big room with private bathroom and lots of privacy. Secure parking within steps and beautiful authentic hosts. It’s clear the owners take pride in their belongings and hosting, they were available for any and all questions and even showed us items around the house we wanted to know more about. Beautiful eating area with a gorgeous view and even offered us fresh sweet ride pudding and banana bread! We burnt our dinner one evening, and Paulinha offered us part of her own dinner. Central area which allowed us to return to areas around the island we wanted more time at and walking distance to grocery store as well. Don’t miss out on this place!!!
