Sunset House in Arco da Calheta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Very clean and spacious room and house, with amazing views. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure and temperature. A generous kitchen that would be excellent for long stays.

The hosts are the best you could ask for, we felt at home from the first moment Antonio welcomed us and already miss the place! In the morning you will find homemade bread or delicious banana cake, eggs from the chicken in the garden and local fruits. There is a jacuzzi in the terrace that is the perfect treat to end the day after all the trekking in the island. The bed is super comfortable and the house is perfectly clean. The apartment was very nice and well equipped. Everything was really clean. The host is the most kind and hospitable person ever. We really enjoyed the place and, if ever again on Madeira, we will definitely stay in Amoreira House.

We could leave our luggage in the morning before check in and in the afternoon after check out without any problem, the guy who attended us was very nice and friendly. The building is very well located in the centre of Funchal and the price was perfect for this accommodation and the time of the year.
