Situated within a few steps of Thalaramba Beach and less than 1 km of Mirissa Beach, PearlDrop Waves Mirissa features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mirissa. All the staff were terrific, with Eranga the manager heading a team including Suranga looking after the rooms, Chandrika helping out, and the wonderful chef, Ariyadasa. Breakfast, whether Western or Sri Lankan, was excellent, with everything freshly prepared. The food was so good, we opted having dinner at the hotel each night,, trying different items cooked right before us in the home-style kitchen. Ten minutes walk from the Coconout Tree Hill lookout, and just a few minutes more to Turtle Bay an Parot Rock. Then on to Mirissa Beach with some lovely places to chill. We had a great view over the rocky beach in front of the hotel, and there was a rooftop terrace with expansive views. A great value place to stay and we'd love to return there one day. The wet season was just hitting, but we luckily managed to enjoy lovely long walks each day, stopping at the far end of the beach for drinks, music and watching the surfers, at the Surf Bar, before returning to the hotel for another dip in the pool.

Situated within 400 metres of Thalaramba Beach and 400 metres of Mirissa Beach in Mirissa, Lavender mirissa offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. It was so clean and they cleaned regularly, the room was stunning, nice and cool. The balcony was so nice with view of the jungle and monkeys and squirrels. The yoga on the rooftop was nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Situated just 1.3 km from Devinuwara Beach, Light house beach home features accommodation in Matara with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The most amazing place we have ever stayed. So peaceful, nature is all around and so many cool animals. The owner and his whole family is so sweet and helpfull. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable. Also you must try the fruit shakes- amazing! Thank you for everything!

Set in Mirissa and only 300 metres from Mirissa Beach, The Jungle View offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the beautiful yoga terrace overlooking the jungle

The Secret Guesthouse, a property with a garden, is situated in Mirissa, 1.2 km from Thalaramba Beach, 2.3 km from Weligambay Beach, as well as 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. Friendly staff with good service. Enjoyed our stay, so decided to go back and stay another 4 nights.

Nimals's House is set in Dikwella. It offers free WiFi and a garden. This holiday home has 3 bedrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A flat-screen TV is available. The location was really good. Just 2 minutes from the main road which we had no noise from street which I understand it is must when you choose hotel in sri lanka. And the host was really helpful. Smart women as host made kitchen and all necessary equipment to have comfortable stay. We were tired of street food and here we were easily cooking for ourself which was important for us. They were so kind and helped us with ice coffee, tea and coconut. Definitely come back.

Located near Weligama Beach and Kushtarajagala, 2b1 weligama is in Weligama and provides free private parking and a restaurant. Very good, clean room and super friendly owner:)

Indunil place hiriketiya is situated in near 600 m Hiriketiya beach Dikwella. Complimentary Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. All rooms at the property have an attached bathroom. I enjoyed my stay at Indunil’s house. Lovely home and great hosts. Indunils' place is only about 10-15 min walk to/from the beach. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Great value for money. Thank you to the family for their exceptional service, warmth and hospitality. I felt very welcomed there.
