Situated within a few steps of Thalaramba Beach and less than 1 km of Mirissa Beach, PearlDrop Waves Mirissa features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mirissa. All the staff were terrific, with Eranga the manager heading a team including Suranga looking after the rooms, Chandrika helping out, and the wonderful chef, Ariyadasa. Breakfast, whether Western or Sri Lankan, was excellent, with everything freshly prepared. The food was so good, we opted having dinner at the hotel each night,, trying different items cooked right before us in the home-style kitchen. Ten minutes walk from the Coconout Tree Hill lookout, and just a few minutes more to Turtle Bay an Parot Rock. Then on to Mirissa Beach with some lovely places to chill. We had a great view over the rocky beach in front of the hotel, and there was a rooftop terrace with expansive views. A great value place to stay and we'd love to return there one day. The wet season was just hitting, but we luckily managed to enjoy lovely long walks each day, stopping at the far end of the beach for drinks, music and watching the surfers, at the Surf Bar, before returning to the hotel for another dip in the pool.

Located 400 metres from Thalaramba Beach, Casa Mira Boutique Villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio and a swimming pool. The owner is accommodating. We arrived late and we were greeted with hospitality. We also requested for a late check-out and we were allowed. We brought our dog, who also enjoyed her stay. Breakfast is also great. Overall good experience.

Situated just 1.3 km from Devinuwara Beach, Light house beach home features accommodation in Matara with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Location was awesome if you looking for more local and less touristy feel :)) Family is very lovely and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request,reasonable prices. Bonus very delicious traditional Sri Lankan food!! :)) smoothies,fruit juices also available.They have chill area by the beach. Town in walking distance. You can go up the light house on Saturdays, spectacular views. Matara is also not far with transport. Thank you for the wonderful time, much love!

The Secret Guesthouse, a property with a garden, is situated in Mirissa, 1.2 km from Thalaramba Beach, 2.3 km from Weligambay Beach, as well as 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. This was the best place I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. It’s clean and tastefully decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s no breakfast but there’s a shared kitchen guests can use and a small fridge and kettle in the room too. You can also order breakfast delivery from a nearby restaurant via WhatsApp. There’s A/C and a fan. The pool is clean and pleasant. It takes 5 minutes to get onto the main road and 2 more to the beach. The location is quiet and surrounded by greenery. I’d definitely stay again!

Nimals's House is set in Dikwella. It offers free WiFi and a garden. This holiday home has 3 bedrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. A flat-screen TV is available. Clean, nice breakfast, Nimal is extremely kind, the location is awesome - close to many beaches. My favorite beach was Turtle point a short 5 min walk away!

Located near Weligama Beach and Kushtarajagala, 2b1 weligama is in Weligama and provides free private parking and a restaurant. The quality and value of this accommodation surpassed our expectations. The price we paid was worthy and beyond. Definitely recommended.

Indunil place hiriketiya is situated in near 600 m Hiriketiya beach Dikwella. Complimentary Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. All rooms at the property have an attached bathroom. I enjoyed my stay at Indunil’s house. Lovely home and great hosts. Indunils' place is only about 10-15 min walk to/from the beach. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Great value for money. Thank you to the family for their exceptional service, warmth and hospitality. I felt very welcomed there.
