The host family is most welcoming and ever-ready to make the guest's stay comfortable. The two children are a pleasure to converse with and they are a fountain of knowledge. The owner, Ruwan, is most helpful and prepared to take one to town or to local places of interest. Even if one wants to visit Sigiriya or any other destination in the Dambulla re3, The Green Jungle is the ideal place to stay. The Cave Temple which is near The Green Jungle, is an experience in itself, either to view6a sunrise or a sunset. The property is maintained immaculately and one can rest comfortably on the veranda or in the garden. The local buses (cheap and easy to use) stop close to the property. All in all, the family of husband and wife and two children, together with the maternal grandparents are ever-smiling and obliging. The grandmother will be prepared to cook you some lunch or dinner as required.
