As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

Featuring accommodation with a balcony, Rustique House dbl is situated in Nuwara Eliya. Well situated in the Lake Gregory district, this homestay is located 7.7 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rustique House! Impeccably clean rooms, serene ambiance, and a warm welcome with a cup of milk coffee. Shan, the host, was accommodating, fulfilling all our requests and offering great suggestions for nighttime activities. Despite no kitchen, they kindly prepared our noodles, which turned out delicious. Breakfast was a delight with rotti, chicken curry, dhal curry, sambol, and a refreshing cup of tea. Highly recommend this place for a delightful experience. Thanks, Shan! Looking forward to another visit.

Situated in Nanu Oya and only 7.8 km from Gregory Lake, Ansi Villa features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Friendly Host Volunteered to free pick up and drop to Nanu Oya station. Greeted with Cake and lovely Tea. Decent hot water shower. Late check in at 11.45pm and early checkout at 5.45am was handled with a smile 😊. Greatly appreciate it.

Medalin Lake Gregory is a guest house situated in the Lake Gregory district of Nuwara Eliya. Beautiful view from this old cozy building! Big rooms and very nice owners! Ask for a srilankan breakfast! They are home made and it was one of the best food I tried in Sri lanka. You can also order a home made dinner with stunning fish curry!

Really really clean. Comfy garden and nice kitchen. The owner wasn't there but his friend was and he was really nice, gave us some great advice. Also just generally comfortable beds and room

Matatagpuan ang Honymooners Hideout sa Nuwara Eliya, wala pang 1 km mula sa Gregory Lake. Makikita ang accommodation na ito malapit sa mga attraction tulad ng Galway's Land National Park. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room is very clean and the paintings are beautiful. The owner herself painted the whole house, as you can see in the pictures. I would definitely recommend.

The host, Rajith is so kind & always smiling! A warm chap, lending hands and ears when I most needed & cold! Property is cozy & homely, host gives good advice on where to go about and make sure stay is comfortable.

Offering a garden and city view, 20/20 wood cabana is located in Nuwara Eliya, 4 km from Gregory Lake and 11 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. The owner "aunty," was so hospitable, and her son was also very kind. Their room was very cozy and comfortable. We immensely enjoyed their homemade food, especially the kiribath (milk rice) and sambal , which were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this place for its warm hospitality and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. I felt like home when I stay here. The owners were super nice and kind they met all my needs. The room was comfy and cozy. The next morning I need to check out at 5am. They made me a nice and tasty breakfast. Weather in Nuwara Eliya was cold but I felt warm staying in their house. I will definitely come back and stay longer!
