Despite no kitchen, they kindly prepared our noodles, which turned out delicious. Breakfast was a delight with rotti, chicken curry, dhal curry, sambol, and a refreshing cup of tea. It is set 15 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden and offers room service. The family that owns this accommodation are so kind and accommodating. They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

We highly recommend this place for its warm hospitality and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.

The room was comfy and cozy. The next morning I need to check out at 5am. They made me a nice and tasty breakfast. Weather in Nuwara Eliya was cold but I felt warm staying in their house. I will definitely come back and stay longer!
