Porto Hania was a perfect match for us. This small hotel is situated hidden in a quiet corner of the picturesque old town. It was a bit difficult to find the place, and the door was kept locked, so we had to phone the owner to come down and let us in. A bigger, more visible sign with the phone number or a door bell would make the checking in easier... Everything you need is in the vicinity. The old port with many restaurants and shops is just a few steps away, however the traffic or the crowds won't disturb your good night sleep. To the bus station you walk in 15 minutes. Many museums are also pretty close to the hotel. Our room was quite big and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed. The air conditioner kept the room temperature moderate also during the hottest nights, functioning silently. The bathroom was also spacious enough, modern and sparkling clean. Last but not least, the owner Nikos, his wife Maria and the other family members were most friendly and helpful. It is our pleasure to warmly recommend this nice little hotel.
