Everything was just great and the hospitality of the owner family is amazing. Many tips and help for all hikes and interesting places in the area. Food was made with local and fresh ingredients. Very authentic tavern where also many locals gather around daily. Loved it!

Offering free WiFi and sea views, Porto Chania is an accommodation set in the heart of Chania Town, just 1 km from Koum Kapi Beach and 1.4 km from Nea Chora Beach. Porto Hania was a perfect match for us. This small hotel is situated hidden in a quiet corner of the picturesque old town. It was a bit difficult to find the place, and the door was kept locked, so we had to phone the owner to come down and let us in. A bigger, more visible sign with the phone number or a door bell would make the checking in easier... Everything you need is in the vicinity. The old port with many restaurants and shops is just a few steps away, however the traffic or the crowds won't disturb your good night sleep. To the bus station you walk in 15 minutes. Many museums are also pretty close to the hotel. Our room was quite big and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed. The air conditioner kept the room temperature moderate also during the hottest nights, functioning silently. The bathroom was also spacious enough, modern and sparkling clean. Last but not least, the owner Nikos, his wife Maria and the other family members were most friendly and helpful. It is our pleasure to warmly recommend this nice little hotel.

Located in Kerames, just 4 km from Preveli Beach, Agia Fotia Taverna offers accommodation with free WiFi. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. Wonderful location (on the water) and lovely room. Loved listening to the sea at night. Nice food at taverna.

Cretan Berry Sarpaki is situated in the Chania Old Town district of Chania Town, 1.4 km from Nea Chora Beach, 2 km from Kladissos Beach and 500 metres from Chania Old Venetian Harbour. My husband and I stayed here for our elopement in Crete and post-ceremony honeymoon. Amazing boutique hotel with great location on beautiful quiet street in Chania's old town. You would never guess that you are a minutes walk from the bustling action of the harbor. Our room was spacious and did not feel cramped with all of the stuff we brought for our two week trip and our wedding ceremony clothes. Georgia, the hotel manager (I'm not sure if she is the owner as well) was there to meet us when we checked in and went above and beyond to ensure we were perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. She even worked with the cleaning staff to arrange our room so it had rose pedals and balloons in honor of our wedding one of the days when we were out and personally delivered a hand packed lunch the night before we left as we had to get up early to head to our next destination before the free breakfast was served. The cleaning staff was also beyond friendly and provided an amazing service. They went above and beyond cleaning our room each day, delicately putting away my wedding dress and organizing our shoes, folding any clothes left out on the bed, etc. Would stay here again without hesitation on any future visits to Chania!

Apartments are great: very clean , comfortable, with a balcony and little kitchen. Quite near the sea. Quick internet connection (ok for work remotely), conditioner. Host is beautiful lady, thanks for hospitality!

Studios Stella & Stella's Traditional is offering accommodations in Kato Zakros. The traditional and retro style rooms offer private balcony, air-condition, fridge, kitchenette and garden view. Garden. Hands down. We were speachless when we walked the garden. Amazing work by the owners. So amazing garden architecture you might only find in Japan mountains. Also we loved the near beaches of Xerokampos area and the tasty food of the tavernas at Kato Zakros, And the shop at Zakros village is well supplied with local products. The bed in the studio fitted my body and we had a comfortable sleep.
