But I would not call it a hotel, It's a small apartment, and in our case that is a lot better. We travel with two small kids so we would need 2 double rooms and both the cost and the required time and personal work required to get them sorted for sleeping would be 3fold. This, is a nice apartment, that has it all, costs less and is very conveniently made. Well done!

Situated just 20 metres from Hydra Port and 500 metres of George Kountouriotis Manor, Upper Hydra offers rooms in Hydra. The property is non-smoking. The Upper is right on the harbor; you only have to carry your suitcase a few steps to the accommodation. The building itself is very tastefully renovated. The Junior Suite was elegantly appointed, offered quality toiletries, had an incredibly comfortable bed and provided ample space for me and my friend. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our pre-submitted request for two separate blankets for the bed had already been fulfilled by the time we arrived; this was very appreciated. The room was also immaculately cleaned every day; many thanks again to the especially friendly service staff! The owners also run the restaurant Mikra Agglia, one of the best addresses in Hydra! We had breakfast and dinner there and absolutely loved it. All in all our stay was fantastic; we would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you to the wonderful staff and owners!
