Very good location if you plan to visit lot of different landmarks: Bled, Piran, Logarska Dolina, Postojna, everything is in 60-90 minutes maximum. The owner is very nice, the room is cozy, balcony is a great add-on. Breakfast was enough for the whole day, until dinner no major meal was necessary. Meat products, dairy products, jams and honey, cereal, eggs and fruits. Wide spectrum for everyone. And DEERS!!!!!

The location was great - close to town centre. it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Our hosts Jerry and Dragon were wonderful. They gave us great advice on for our cycling route the next day. We loved having the washing machine and drying racks in the garden to dry our clothes. Kitchen was well stocked.

What a wonderful surprise to discover Hisa Ales. From the moment we entered and were greeted with a friendly face and a brandy cordial, our stay just got better. A nicely appointed and quiet room was expected at the highly rated Hisa Ales. What enhanced our experience was the food and service we received. Our dinner was outstanding – very fresh ingredients presented with flair. To accompany our meal – regional sausages and vegetables - our server recommended some brilliant local craft beers, our favorite being No Bullshit Lager. Breakfast which was included in our stay was a perfect way to start our day – a lovely assortment of fresh foods and if you desired an omelet cooked for you. However, what made our stay special was the exceptional service we received. From checking in, to our wonderful server at dinner who had excellent recommendations and a fabulous sense of humour, and to the owner that ensures his guests leave satisfied, it’s a challenge to find better. A touch off the well travelled roads, it’s a diversion well worth your time.

Everything was beyond our expectations. The hosts were just amazing, the food was the best we had on our whole trip in Slovenia and the place is in a very beautiful and calm place. The double room was more than enough for two people and the private parking was perfect. Thank you very much for taking care of us although we stayed only for one night.

Anna and her family took very good care of us. The room and facilities were spotless. Provided cover parking for my motorcycle. The restaurant menu and food was very excellent. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. Short drive easy into Ljubljana.
