Wonderful room with a spectacular view, well decorated, clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and delicious. Staff was friendly. The weather wasn't so great, sadly, but i will definitely come back in summer!

Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse is situated in a part of Glenanore tea estate close to Haputale. This family-run guesthouse offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.

Most of all the family running the guesthouse. Everyone were so kind, and helpful in any way possible. We had such a great and fun stay. We did the cooking class, highly recommended, don’t miss out. We stayed 4 days and had all our meals there. They are doing really great cooking. After 8 weeks travelling in Sri Lanka the last year, we never had anything but good experiences, but this guesthouse is now our favourite, first of all because of the genuinely warmhearted family.

The GlenMyu Villa is nestled on a mountain in Haputale, amid the varied plants and wildlife unique to Sri Lanka. On our arrival, Micheal and Ruwanthi warmly greeted us. They gave us a tour, and we were instantly captivated by the breathtaking views of nature. The villa's design is modern, radiating peace in every room. The large windows makes you feel like you’re living in the middle of the jungle, it calms and makes you connect with the nature that surrounds. During our stay, we got a tour in the garden, where Ruwanthi introduced us to the ingredients for many of their dishes, from fresh fruits and vegetables to all kinds of different herbs and plants. It amazes us that you can grow so much diverse plants and foods. To be completely honest with you, I can’t think of anything that they haven’t considered to make their place so special. The villa has everything you need to fully relax and enjoy your stay. You can have a peaceful walk in the woods or the garden, get a swim in the pool, and enjoy the view from every single room. The environment is animal friendly, they have all kinds of adorable animals like dogs, chickens, ducks, and a small cow. The dogs were incredibly gentle with our toddler, who usually feels a bit uneasy around them. Lipton, in particular, was especially a sweet dog. — One special topic for the food. We've dined globally, but the dishes crafted by Ruwanthi, her mom, and the staff were unparalleled. The food was just impeccable and the quality was top-notch! All the dishes are widely diverse and so tasteful. My husband is normally very critical if it’s about food but he loved every single dish. Our vegetarian friend was equally amazed, claiming it was the best she'd ever had. Each dish was truly the zenith of its kind. We hope to buy Ruwanthi’s cookbook in the future, hoping to recreate some of this magic! Micheal, Ruwanthi, the family and the staff took really good care of us.

We spent 10 wonderful days in Haputale. Thank you Dias family for your warmth, friendliness and help. Mother Farina is the best cook in Sri Lanka. Her cooking fantasy is fantastic. Viraj is very attentive and ready to resolve any issue. Shirodh is a wonderful guide. We showed us a beautiful Lipton Seat. There is also Frank. At his hut you can have a delicious roti and tea during the day. The hotel is in an amazingly beautiful location. You can see sunrise right at the door of the room. We walked every day through tea plantations and mountains. The shared dinners turned out to be a new but interesting experience for us. We met interesting people from many countries and had talked a lot. I hope we will come to White Monkey next year

Boasting a garden and views of lake, Bel View Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Haputale, 43 km from Gregory Lake.

This guest house was a perfect choice for the price. Family atmosphere, friendly owner, traditional food, wifi, clean rooms, hot water in the shower - everything was OK. The city centre is like 10 mins walk. The owner and his family can speak english and he can give you a lot of informations and recommendations (tourism, tuktuk, taxi, restaurants etc.) Czech tourists love this place (a lot of czech reviews in a guest book inside the guest house) I hope we’ll visit this place again in the future. P.S.: Take some european chocolate with you, the children will love it!
