Whereas they charged me extra 1.500/- for late checkout 2.30pm I informed them earlier I’ll be checking out at 2.30pm for train schedule but they remained tight lipped until I arrived the location. We really loved our stay at Mode apartments. Jeffrey and his wife were very kind, helpful and accommodating. The flat is new and sparkling clean. The bed is extremely comfortable (it’s literally one huuuuuuuge and thick mattress). We haven’t slept so nicely in forever. The view from the balcony is beautiful with gorgeous sunsets. It is very easy to get to the flat with public transportation. The flat is 3 min walking from the beach with various restaurants. Definitely recommend!

James, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was not only comfortable but also tailored to my needs. The host also checked in on me from time to time to see if I was okay and if I needed anything, which I appreciated. If given the opportunity to visit Sri Lanka again, I wouldn't hesitate to return
