The Hansens family was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Aside from having one of the best locations in Altastenberg, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and forests, the hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. A great place to relax and take wonderful hikes. I am certainly going to return! In case you plan on driving there with an electric vehicle, there is a charging station in the hotel parking lot.

The staff was super friendly, helped us in Spanish. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a variety of meals. The room was super clean and comfy, same goes for the bathrooms. The location is near to the bus station and a bus ticket for the whole stay is already included (this covers all buses trips). The location is superb, surrounded by mountains nothing can beat the view, simply amazing. Being 5 minutes apart from Winterberg centre provides enough low light to appreciate the night sky full of stars, unbeatable. Would come back and recommend it for sure. Also parking is available for free.

The host was really kind and helpful. She was always available for any questions and advices. The room had everything that I need, was clean and warm enough. The bath had always hot water. Breakfast was excellent and from the Restaurant the view was wonderful.
