A well equipped bungalow at a beautiful spot, overlooking the ocean. It had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Nicely furnished, with kitchen space, nicely separated sleeping area, good shower, and a sitting area on the porch with the view of the ocean. The local bathing area was right in front, as well as a good, inexpensieve little bar)restaurant.

Overlooking the village of Velas, Casa Da Encosta is located in the São Jorge island in the Azores archipelago. It offers accommodation for 4 persons and panoramic views of the Pico across the sea. The overall accomodations were excellent, spectacular wide view and landscape to Velas village and to Pico, very near Velas, the house was very clean, the kitchen fully equipped as well as the bathroom. The host was very friendely and always available for any kind support.

Sao Jorge is the island we love most. But most of all because of the house. It is Just like being at home , it feels realy good. It is quiet, just the birds in the background. The house is spotlessly clean and has everything you need: comfy beds, good kitchen with clean cooking utensils. It is light and airy and had great outdoor facilities. Even better than the pictures! But most of all, the owners are the nicest people! Super communication via whats app and plenty info on what to do on the island. מקום האירוח Azorenhaus am Atlantik - Family House ממוקם בUrzelina שבאזור Ilha de São Jorge, ויש בו טרסה ונוף לים. בבית הנופש יש הסעות ללא תשלום, אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם וחניה פרטית בחינם. Everything was simply perfect! Ulrike and dirk were super nice hosts, the house was very well equipped, swimming spot is just a few meters away, we absolutely enjoyed.

The owners were very communicative and responsive. The place is very cozy and perfect for us as a couple travelling alone. Great patio with hammocks and very well thought out inclusions in the home.

We absolutely loved our stay in this amazing spot! The location is incredible, right by the sea and so peaceful. Our host Diana was fantastic, easy to communicate with and she made some great recommendations. Her place was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. As with most of the Azores a rental car is strongly recommended, not just for the remote location but also to make the most of your visit to the island. I would love to return and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely home in a traditional Azorean village by the sea!
