Me and my daughter had an amazing experience at the Carra Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given lots of information about Mardin and where to visit which was a great help. The owner Mete arranged a taxi tour for us which was an incredible experience. The taxi driver Mehmet took us around for the entire day and was extremely knowledgeable of the area and knew the best places to go. The hotel itself was beautiful with a gorgeous traditional interior design. I highly recommend getting tea and sitting at the terrace, which offers a gorgeous view. Thank you to Yildiz and Bekir for the lovely breakfast and for being very friendly. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we hope to make another trip in the future!

They also had great recommendations for what to do in the small city of Midyat. Make sure to have google translate downloaded on your smartphone. English is not really spoken in this town. Which makes it more adventurous for those that don’t speak Turkish

This city may not be somewhere a lot of people go to but if you visit Sanluirfa, this place is the best value accommodation I had in my entire trip in Turkey. I was arriving very early in the morning from a 9 hour bus and the owner allowed me to check-in early. The location of this place is walking distance to many popular sites. This staff was so helpful with so many things. I wanted to drive to some sites that were further (Göbekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, Harran City) and he helped me find a car rental that was automatic and that was amazing since all I could find were manual rentals when I tried looking myself. He drove me to the car rental place and handled the return of the vehicle himself. He even drove me to the airport when I was checking out at no extra cost with was completely unexpected. He also gave me a recommendation for an ancient site that was largely untouched and would have never even knew to visit (which was quite an experience). His hospitality surpasses many places I have stayed in all of my travels and I was very impressed. Even though he didn't speak english that well, I used google translate and he was very patient with me. You cannot beat this price with its location and the room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was also very good! I would definitely stay here again if I was to visit this city in the future and 100% recommend.

Incredible find on the edge of Old Town in a spacious historic building. I paid single rate for a room that could easily sleep four or more. Bed was comfortable with outlet plug-ins surrounding the room. Turkish breakfast was quite generous and filling. The owner was very helpful with details for what to see around the city and directions to a downtown station area for catching buses to Göbeklitepe or the Havas back to the airport. Everything about this place, area was magical and I will definitely stay here again anytime I'm back in the city!

Kasr-i Nehroz er staðsett í 2 sögulegum steinhúsum, nokkur hundruð metrum frá Silversmith Bazaar. Hótelið býður upp á ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet á almenningssvæðum og sólarhringsmóttöku. The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is at a stone's throw from the bus station and, at the same time, inside the old city. In fact, I would recommend to reach it from that side (bus station) rather than from the main square. The stuff is very gentle and keen to help while the room was spacious, warm and well furnished. The whole hotel is really beautiful and I would recommend to ask for a room facing the courtyard. Oh and they also have a restaurant, slightly more expensive than those downtown, but really worth it and serving alcohol
