Location was perfect - city center, a lot of restaurants in surroundings, room was clean and silent, staff was very helpfull and friendly.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. A beautiful place with a very nice garden and freezing pool :) easy to relax sitting in the chair or lying in the hammock, since it is further from the main road, it is also quiet Lovely staff, we talked mostly with Rubina (?) always with a smile, although she was probably quite busy Tasty breakfast Very nice room with amazing view of the surrounding mountains (1st floor), the whole house is very nice, bright and maintained Welcome drink (Madeira wine) and a tasty cake (forgot to ask for the name, it was not pastel nata) Would definitely come back someday!

Emanuela and Eddy were fantastic hosts! The location was perfect, the room was delightful and clean. We had absolutely no complaints and this was a great launch pad for the first nights of our honeymoon!

During our stay at Encanto do Sol in Madeira, Juan and Catia, our wonderful hosts, made our experience truly exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality were evident in every aspect of our stay. Notably, Juan's gesture of allowing us to freely pick fruits and vegetables from their garden, along with the delight of collecting freshly laid eggs from their chickens, added an extra layer of charm to our visit. The house itself, Encanto do Sol, stands out as one of the most beautiful places we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. However, what truly took our breath away was the panoramic view of the entire bay. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was a privilege, and we often found ourselves savoring aperitifs on the terrace, surrounded by the lush beauty of the garden. Speaking of the garden, it's a magical place in its own right. From the banana grove to the various other plants, it added to the overall enchantment of the property. It's a serene oasis where you can unwind and connect with nature. One of the practical advantages of Encanto do Sol is its convenient location. The charming village and the beautiful beach are just a 10-minute stroll away. This accessibility made our daily explorations effortless, yet we were always excited to return to the comfort of Encanto do Sol at the end of the day. During our stay, we used the house as our base to explore the entire island, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Should we have the opportunity to return to Madeira, there's no doubt in our minds that we would choose Encanto do Sol again. It's a place that captures the essence of Madeira's beauty and hospitality. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. From well-appointed rooms to a fully equipped kitchen, it's a home away from home.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Amazing rooms, facilities are well-thought of. The entire place looks amazing, tropical-ish. Location is wonderful.

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. This guest house features accommodation with a balcony. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

The place was fully equipped to really make us feel at home, the view was beautiful, the bed super comfy, best vacation stay we've been at!

Set in Porto Moniz in the Madeira Islands region, Janela para o Atlântico features a terrace and sea views. The accommodation is 9 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools. We stayed here for 4 nights. Wonderfull place with a wonderfull host. On arrival to the town Magna text us to see if we had arrived. After we climbed a hill towards the property we had an issue with Google Maps. Then Magna arrived in her car and explained which steps to take, she then drove us to the accommodation. Great room with amazing views. The sea and the mountains. The accomodation was perfect for us, great comfy bed, fab shower. We didn't use a car so the walk up and down can be quite tough for some. The town has some great sites, cliffs on the main street, two amazing sea pools, lovely beach with incredible views. The town van be very busy with passing through tourism. People driving around the island. We recommend the town for a few days, some decent walks along the old roads .before the tunnels were constructed. Some of the local cafes were excellent and we also ate at property as there was a small fridge we could use. Also a kettle and plates and cutlery. On day of leaving we were going to take the bus to Sao Vicente but Magna said she was heading our way. We recommend this accommodation and will return. Cheers 😁😁

Booked on short notice, no problems - the key was ready at our arrival! And what a view!!! High up on a mountain side overlooking the valley and ocean towards the east, making you setting the alarm clock early the next morning so you won't miss the sunrise! And the breakfast! Friendly and welcoming staff and eating as much as you can - nothing left to wish for! The host, Dieter, welcomed everyone personally at breakfast and we had a nice chat about this marvelous place.
