Location was perfect - city center, a lot of restaurants in surroundings, room was clean and silent, staff was very helpfull and friendly.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. A beautiful place with a very nice garden and freezing pool :) easy to relax sitting in the chair or lying in the hammock, since it is further from the main road, it is also quiet Lovely staff, we talked mostly with Rubina (?) always with a smile, although she was probably quite busy Tasty breakfast Very nice room with amazing view of the surrounding mountains (1st floor), the whole house is very nice, bright and maintained Welcome drink (Madeira wine) and a tasty cake (forgot to ask for the name, it was not pastel nata) Would definitely come back someday!

Sunset House in Arco da Calheta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The location if you travel with car is best, the view is incredible ❤️ The hosta are very nice and helpful. Housenis very calm & peaceful. Kitchen is well-equiped and hosts even offer some products from their garden ^^ Highly recommend if you don’t mind not having the private bathroom. Thank you guys and best of luck!

Featuring pool views, bluegreen offers accommodation with balcony, around 1.1 km from Caminho Faja do Mar Beach. With sea views, this accommodation provides a terrace and a swimming pool. Emanuela and Eddy were fantastic hosts! The location was perfect, the room was delightful and clean. We had absolutely no complaints and this was a great launch pad for the first nights of our honeymoon!

Located within 2.7 km of Calheta Beach and 25 km of Girao Cape, Amoreira House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Calheta. This was the most pleasant stay we had in almost a month on Madeira! The host Luis and his family are so welcoming, kind and helpful. The view from the unit is absolutely beautiful and it is fully equipped with everything you could need. The apartment was so clean and very well maintained. We were treated like family; it was the most personable stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. The town of Calheta is so quaint but yet has everything you could need. It is a perfect place to stay on the island to have a relaxing time yet still be close enough to everything you want to do.

Absolutely amazing stay! Everything about this place is special: outstanding hosts and reception, paradise view with palms and ocean, chill and sunny location. We would definitely want to stay again and longer.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Amazing rooms, facilities are well-thought of. The entire place looks amazing, tropical-ish. Location is wonderful.

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. This guest house features accommodation with a balcony. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

The place was fully equipped to really make us feel at home, the view was beautiful, the bed super comfy, best vacation stay we've been at!

Set in Porto Moniz in the Madeira Islands region, Janela para o Atlântico features a terrace and sea views. The accommodation is 9 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools. We stayed here for 4 nights. Wonderfull place with a wonderfull host. On arrival to the town Magna text us to see if we had arrived. After we climbed a hill towards the property we had an issue with Google Maps. Then Magna arrived in her car and explained which steps to take, she then drove us to the accommodation. Great room with amazing views. The sea and the mountains. The accomodation was perfect for us, great comfy bed, fab shower. We didn't use a car so the walk up and down can be quite tough for some. The town has some great sites, cliffs on the main street, two amazing sea pools, lovely beach with incredible views. The town van be very busy with passing through tourism. People driving around the island. We recommend the town for a few days, some decent walks along the old roads .before the tunnels were constructed. Some of the local cafes were excellent and we also ate at property as there was a small fridge we could use. Also a kettle and plates and cutlery. On day of leaving we were going to take the bus to Sao Vicente but Magna said she was heading our way. We recommend this accommodation and will return. Cheers 😁😁
