Estrela do Atlântico, que cuenta con jardín, terraza, bar y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Horta, a 11 min a pie de Praia da Conceição y a 2,8 km de Praia de Porto Pim. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!

Alice´s House se encuentra en Horta, a 1,8 km de Praia da Conceição, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Needless to say the VIEW!!! I couldn’t believe my luck when I entered my very spacious and comfortable room and saw that view from the French door and the terrace! I had the sunrise, the full moon, glorious Pico, the sea, the meadows, the birds, the lights of the port all in one amazing picture right in front of me. The weather was on my side too! I always close all shutters and go for the dark when I sleep, but not at Alice’s house! Impossible to block the view! The room itself was also perfect, comfy bed, two types of pillows (memory/hard and soft), spacious wardrobe and chest of drawers, TV (not essential for me but there is one), excellent shower, very hot water, BIDET! And in the communal living room: extra towels, hair dryers, coffee and tea and biscuits, kettle, mugs, glasses, fridge. Perfect for breakfast (I didn’t use this facility but I appreciated that it was available). You can par on the road (which is on the way to the Caldera, by the way) or in her parking space in front of the house (steep entrance). On arrival I was welcomed by Alice, super nice and super cool! I saw her just on arrival but if I needed anything, she left her number in the room. So lucky to have stayed in her beautiful house! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

La Casa buonvento se encuentra en Horta y ofrece una sala de estar compartida. También cuenta con cocina compartida, consigna de equipaje y WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. The hosts made it worthwhile. They go out of their way to please.

Monte da Guia está en Horta, a 2,4 km de Praia da Conceição, y ofrece alojamiento frente a la playa con zona de barbacoa, entre otros. Todo. Especialmente la amabilidad de la persona encargada. Y las vistas maravillosas.

Mar Rosa - Terraço Vista Praia está en Horta, a 16 min a pie de Praia de Porto Pim, y tiene terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Era una casa local, te sentías integrado en el pueblo. Estaba en medio de puerto hacia un lado y una playa maravillosa hacia el otro, lo mejor de nuestro viaje por Azores, súper amable el anfitrión, y el precio muy bajo, increíblemente bajo comparativamente con lo que busqué en Azores y lo agradable de la casa

La Vila Odette, situada a 1 km del centro de Horta, ofrece jardín con vistas al mar y a la montaña. Hay WiFi gratuita y aparcamiento privado gratuito. wonderful view, great place to stay

Casa de Hóspedes Porto Pim, que se encuentra a 16 min a pie de Praia de Porto Pim y a 2 km de Praia da Conceição, ofrece habitaciones en Horta. I liked everything in this nice studio appartment. Great location, close to everything and still a quiet area. Has also a balkony with a view.

El BELO CAMPO - Ilha do Faial (Horta) se encuentra en Castelo Branco, en la isla de Faial, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín y salón compartido. The host, José was very kind and friendly. He helped us in everything. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. Beside that the airport is in front of the apartment it was quiet during the night.

La Casa da Baía - Guest House ofrece WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones y se encuentra en la región de Faial, a 42 km de Pontas Negras. Hay TV por cable. The location of this guesthouse is right center in the city, and it has both a reading lounge, pantry and balcony for those looking to relax or work. The staff were also friendly. We had luck in having the available room at the highest floor, overlooking the marina and Pico. Definitely would return and stay here again.
