Caldeira Guesthouse is situated in Calheta, 100 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, in the Azorean São Jorge Island. I loved everything about this house and my stay here. It is located in an absolutely beautiful place and the green colors surrounding it is something that has to be seen in person as pictures does not do it justice. The house has amazing views, my room was nice and clean and had a very comfortable bed and I had the best night of sleep I have had in a long time. I opted to have breakfast and dinner the two days I was there and both were great and you got to meet and talk to the other people that was staying there. The staff was lovely and David was very helpful and welcoming. This place made me feel so at peace and happy and it did wonders to my soul. The hikes in the area was amazing with spectacular views and to just sit and watch and listen to the ocean brought me so much joy. I did not want to leave and I actually had a chance to get a free ride to the airport but chose not to take it so I could stay an hour and half longer and I'm not a rich person and normally conservative with money. It was so worth it.

Casa Do Antonio is just 100 metres from Velas Port, offering spacious rooms with cable TV and free tea and coffee for guests. Rooms boast views across Pico Island, the sea or the port. Antonio was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean, the garden is beautiful and the location is also very good. Happy with our stay.

Objekat Casa dos Rui´s, koji je smešten u gradu Velas, ima vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. Smeštaj gostima nudi zajedničku kuhinju i recepciju koja radi non-stop. The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

This was a like feeling at home during my trip. The owner Mrs Julia and her husband are lovely people and help you in whatever they can. All has a 'family' feel. They do truly care that your experience with them will warm your heart when thinking back.

The unit includes an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant.... super friendly and tipycal location, the host will do anything to make you feel like home, we really appreciate it. on demand she can also arrange dinner. the position is on the top of velhas with beautiful landscape on the see, we walked down to the “centre” in 10 min

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.
