Our host was amazing, friendly and generous with drink and food and friendship. I loved the sweet cherry tree and views of the vineyards.

Offering mountain views, A Tendinha - Guest House is an accommodation located in Peso da Régua, 1.1 km from Douro Museum and 14 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Quinta da Menina Guest House is situated in Vila Real, 35 km from Douro Museum, 46 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, and 8.6 km from Mateus Palace. A spacious, luxurious and clean guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood. Free parking is available on the premises. Perfect breakfast and very nice staff. Enjoyed the stay and as a matter of speaking felt at home.

I stayed in many places. I have never met expensive coffee machines, sound bars with subwoofers, and collectible vintage radios for guests. All kitchenware matches by color. Complimentary cake, fruits and Porto vine are offered. Places and where to eat recommendations are printed. The host is amazing. Everything is made with love.

Featuring mountain views, Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro features accommodation with patio, around 1.3 km from Douro Museum. Great place to stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Well located at the beginning of a great drive into the valley. Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro is brand new and the facilities are excellent. Also the hosts were very nice and most helpful. I have no hesitation recommending Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro for your stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Also they have parking right next door within the building which is most helpful.

Zimão Garden House is located in Vila Real, 30 km from Natur Waterpark, 31 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, and 43 km from Douro Museum. We can highly recommend this accommodation. The house is located in Zimao, an old town of traditional stone houses located at the hillside with views over the valley. The host Eva was very friendly and gave us good recommendations what to see and to do in the area, like waterfalls, lakes and the beautiful countryside. I think the location is ideal for hiking and biking. The house and rooms were very clean and well equipped. The house is an old town house but very nicely renovated with fine decorations and the attention to details. There is a big and fully equipped kitchen to be used by all of the only 3 rooms as well as a balcony with a beautiful view at sunset over the valley. We stayed in the studio that is spacious as well as its bathroom. The bed was comfortable. We had a great time there and enjoyed our stay.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a bar and views of the pool, Muas Guest House is set in Vila Real and offers accommodation with free WiFi. The stay was very pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

Situated in Provesende and only 12 km from Natur Waterpark, Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

Located within 12 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 40 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Casa dos Primos provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Muxagata. A lovely stay with hosts that treat you like family. The room is spotless clean, and you get to use the dining and living rooms, it’s spacious and nice. But mostly it’s the chance to meet the nicest hosts and feel the real Portugal. We highly recommend it, and hope to come again.

Located within 12 km of Douro Museum and 27 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Vila Douro Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mesão Frio. The view outside the window is spectacular Location is quite good you can travel to near-by cities if you have a car Car parking! It was a huge bonus I was able to see my car from my room to check if it is ok. Staff is super friendly! Breakfast has a huge variety of food and everything was delicious!
