Situated in Viseu, a 5-minute walk from the city centre, Casa da Torre - Viseu features accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and parking are also available. We were greeted warmly after parking in front of the easily accessible, secure, free parking in front of the hotel. Our stay at this well located and beautifully restored home of a revered Viseu teacher/archaeologist has been a highlight of our travels around Portugal. This is a family owned and run hotel and pride of ownership is clearly evident. The family was so gracious and kind and we learned so much about life in this region from them. The lovely, spacious room and large bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Our stay was perfect and we look forward to returning!

Luis and the staff was fantastic and very welcoming. Her helped us with information for visiting the city and local restaurants. The estate is well kept and classic with the times. Breakfast was great. Parking was easy in the lot or on the side street. Rooms were very comfortable.

My room was so large and a decent sized bathroom. Restaurants and cafes directly across the street. No street noise once the windows were closed and air-conditioning worked well for the short period I was there.
